AsCaptain has always done his best to keep the team up to their work. R. C. Guy (Sec.) : has a good defence , and with a little more patience will be a successful bat next year . Fields well at coverpoint . P. A. Gore: a fast and at times very destructive bowler ; must keep his leg clear of the wicket whenbatting . W. E. Hare: a mediumpace bowler with an awkwardbreak-back ; a slack field . G. C. Hare: plays a very steady and often productive innings ; his performances as long-stop always good. G. P. C. Shrewsbury : promises to become a good bat ; a fairly good field , and altogether an energetic cricketer . T. W. Gellibrand : a useful mediumpace bowler, and as a batsman plays neatly on the off -side . E. F. Hall : w a sabsent a greater part of the season ; a fair bat. F. T. Ince : batsm u c hbetter in practice than in a match ; should overcome nervousness . F. Humphry: far too free a bat ; fields mid-off and long leg fairly . E. J.
