Hamilton (Haileybury and Queen's ) : a fine free left -handed hitter , and a beautiful field , especially in the long field . M.C. Kemp (Harrow and Hertford ) : played amagnificent innings of 82 against Cambridge without a chance ; very good player to slow bowling , as he is quick onhis legs ; a good wicket -keeper . C. F. H. Leslie (Rugby and Oriel ) : Played consistently well during the term at Oxford , especially against the Australians , butwas afterwards very unfortunate ; is really a very fine bat, hitting well all
