HALLIWELL, RICHARD BISSETT .--Died Nov. 2, 1881 ; Born 1843. About ten years ago kept wicket for Middlesex , and was selected to take the same post for Gentlemenv. Players . Stood up pluckily to every kind of bowling, not a good bat, but could hit loose bowling whensettled . H O W I T T, GEORGE.-Died Dec. 19, 1881 ; Born March14, 1843. Played for Notts by birth , and subsequently for Middlesex by residence . Also a member of United All England Eleven , and in 1870 one of the Ground Staff at Lord's ; a fast left -hand round -arm bowler , on his day very destructive. M A Y N A R D, F. WILSON, CLAUDW. (Surrey) .-Died on June 7, 1881. Educated at Brighton College and Oxford . Played for Oxford in its earlier fixtures , but was taken ill just before the Inter -University match.
