A very destructive fast under -hand bowler ; a fair bat and goodfield . SNOW, A. P. H. Plays in good form; a fair change bowler . STILEMAN GIBBARD, L. A useful bat, with great hitting power ; plays ingood form; bowls with great sucess at times . TYLECOTE, C. B. L. (Clifton and Oxford). A very useful fast bowler ; an improvedbat. TYLECOTE, H. G. (Clifton and Oxford). A good slow bowler, getting a con- siderable break on at times ; a reliable field anywhere, but especially at point ; a neat bat. D E R B Y S H I R E . BARRINGTON, G. B. A good steady bat, but wants more life in his play ; is a safe catch , but requires to be quicker in the field ; made some good scores in minormatches, but was very unsuccessful for the County. C U R S H A M, A. W. A good field , but has fallen off in his batting ; plays for Derbyshire by residence . DOCKER, L. C. A very promising bat , has strong defence and brilliant hitting powers; good field andfair change bowler. EVANS, H. A very useful cricketer , a very straight fast bowler, good bat, andexcellent field . EVERSHED, S. H. (Clifton ). A good bat, but has hardly trained on as was expected ; can also bowl well ; a smart field . F O R M A N, A. F. E. A good bat, and a fine field . HUMBLE, W. J. Agood bat as well as a safe field , and is a valuable all- r o u n dcricketer. MAYNARD, A. E. J. (Harrow and Cambridge ). A good bat, and very good field ; bowlsslow rounda r m. SHUKER, A. (St. John's , Cambridge ). An excellent bat, and good field . SMITH, R. P. A useful manto his county , a good sound bat, and a safe field ; has captained the Eleven for six years .
