Williams (10) : a good bat, with tremendous hitting powers, a splendid wicket-keeper . F. Geary (10 ) : a steady bat ; fields well at point ; proved himself a useful bowler. G. R. Cox (9) : the best bat in the eleven , but unsuccessful this season ; a fair change bowler. T. Morgan (9) : a good all -round m a n. T. F. Phillips (8) : a regular sticker , prefers keeping his wicket to getting runs . J. Morgan (8): fair bat , and decent changebowler, but is rather slow in the field . R. E. Jones (7) : good style , but rather unfortunate . H. H. Thomas (6) : a steady bat ; is a useful changebowler, and fields well . O. I. Pritchard (6) : rather too anxious to hit; quick and sure field anywhere. W. Dixon (5) : a perfect long-stop ; hasmanagedto get runs whenleast expected . R. Crawley (10-5 ) : very dangerous left -hand bowler, good break; steady bat. W. H. Svindale (8.9) : improving steady batsman; played in every match; excellent long- stop ; good field anywhere . A. E. Harris : good all -round field , especially at point, or as wicket-keeper. S. Wells (7.4 ) : good change bowler ; gene- rally scores well . J. Turpin : bowler , with fine pitch ; hard hitter . Η.
