A very destructive fast under -hand bowler ; a fair bat and goodfield . SNOW, A. P. H. Has proved himself a useful bat ; plays in good form . STEDMAN, Rev. H. C. P. A very good man all round ; particularly brilliant i nt h efield. STILEMANGIBBARD, L. A useful , improving cricketer . TYLECOTE , C. B. L. (Clifton and Oxford ). A very useful fast bowler ; good field ; and fair bat. TYLECOTE, E. F. S. (Clifton and Oxford). A good bat, and brilliant wicket- keeper-second to none ; has represented the Gentlemen against the Players at the Oval for manyyears , and has always done well. TYLECOTE , H. G. (Clifton and Oxford ). A most effective player all round ; his bowling is always very destructive ; and he is equally good as a field a n dab a t. VYSE, W. A very useful wicket -keeper. D E R B Y S H I R E . CURGENVEN, W. G. A brilliant bat, hitting well all round , and on a lively wicket a fast run -getter ; a good field at long -leg and cover -point . CURSHAM , A. W. Asplendid field , but has fallen off in his batting ; plays for Derbyshire by residence . FORMAN, A. F. E. Avery good bat, and a splendid field . (One of the Masters at Repton School .) HUMBLE, W. J. Agood bat as well as a safe field , and is a valuable all -round cricketer. RICHARDSON, S. A good bat, cuts well . SHUKER, A. (St. John's , Cambridge). A nexcellent bat, and good field . SMITH, J. A very good bat, having a very strong defence ; good change bowler , and fair field . Did not play last season . SMITH, R. P. A useful manto his county, being a very good bat, and a fine out field ; has captained the Eleven for the last two years .
