Forrest : a useful bat ; best catch in the eleven ; bowls fairly . H. C. Franks : a splendid bowler on his day ; poor bat ; winner of the bowling belt . L. A. Bellhouse : fair bat , inclined to pull ; has bowled . W. N. Capper : is a fairly successful bat ; poor field . G. Jowett : a pretty bat , wants to develop ; good medium-paced bowler , with strong break from the off ; fair field . * W.
