S. H. Byass : an excellent fast bowler , unplayable on a dead ground , and always difficult to score off , much improved as a bat and generally gets runs ; rather slack in the field . H. N. Byass : ought to make a really good bat, when he has grown, as his form is excellent ; a promising wicket -keeper . W. G. Forster : with practice should make a useful player ; a fair field and can keep wicket . *F. C. Baker : a steady bat , with good defence ; slow in the field , but has madetwo or three brilliant catches . E. G. Woodhouse : a lively and promising bat ; good in the field . *N. E. Gresley : somewhat stiff as a bat; uncertain in the field . L.
