Unfortunately, heavy storms just before the match robbed it of most of its interest, and the fact that England was in no way properly represented still further detracted from its value. The score is given below, and beyond this it will suffice to call attention to the exceptionally fine bowling of Midwinter the Melbourne professional for Gloucestershire.
