On 14th April, for St. Paul’s, Stayley, Failsworth bowled 36 balls, 4 maidens, for 5 runs and six wickets. On 9th June for St. Paul’s against Holy Trinity, Ashton-under- Lyme, same bowler delivered 11 overs, 8 maidens, 3 runs, and 5 wickets. For Low Moor against New Wortley, E. Blamires bowled 9 overs, 5 maidens, 5 runs, and 8wickets. Mr. S. H Hanna, of the Ulster (Belfast) Club, during the past season, gained high distinction as a bowler. Out of the ninety odd tickets to his credit all but three were clean bowled, of the three one was 15*
