S treet , J ames , R ow Barge Inn, Godaiming.- F eats with the B all .—In a match between Newton Abbot School and Mansion House School, Totnes, in the first innings of the latter, six wickets fell in six successive balls, the first three bowled one run out (over) and then two bowled with two following balls from other end. On 14th April, for St. Paul’s, Stayley, Failsworth bowled 36 balls, 4 maidens, for 5 runs and six wickets. On 9th June for St. Paul’s against Holy Trinity, Ashton-under- Lyme, same bowler delivered 11 overs, 8 maidens, 3 runs, and 5 wickets. For Low Moor against New Wortley, E. Blamires bowled 9 overs, 5 maidens, 5 runs, and 8wickets. Mr. S. H Hanna, of the Ulster (Belfast) Club, during the past season, gained high distinction as a bowler. Out of the ninety odd tickets to his credit all but three were clean bowled, of the three one was 15*
