Limerick County has not been as active and enterprising as usual during the past season, and decidedly, though we cannot say consequently, Dame Fortune has not been as generous with her smiles as of yore. The county counts but three wins out of seven matches, and with the strong team she can muster, this ought not to be the case. She has several batsmen ot high calibre, and with Messrs. Neill, Rose, and Bayly, no county in Ireland can compare with her in bowling. We hope that the season ot 1878 wall show a decided improvement, both in the number of matches played, and in tr.c number of those won. Colours : black, green, and yellow. Number of Members : 120.
