Hart Dyke, M.P., Viscount Folkestone, Earl of Gosford, Lord Grey Do Radclifte, Arthur E. Guest, Lord George Hamilton, M*P., Lord Londesborough, Alfred Lubbock, Earl of March, Colonel Marshall, Lord Methuen, Marquis of Queensberry, Captain W. S. Kenyon-Slaney, A. H. Smith-Barry, M.P., Colonel Taylor, M.P., Colonel Trotter, Lord Willoughby de Broke. Secretary , George Prince. Only three matches were played by Prince's Club and Ground during 1876, but there was no lack of interesting encounters, as the list of extraneous matches which follows will show. Early in the year the wickets were good, but to wards the end they wore very badly, and the cricket suffered in consequence. The sad death of Box, who had been ground-keeper from the first opening of the ground, brought to a melancholy close a not over-successful season. Details of the different matches follow.
