II. Bagloy bowled eleven overs (ten maidens) for one run, seven wickets, and a wide; ior Exmouth v. South Devon Rovers, H. H. Dobbie, of the Charterhouse School Eleven, in eight overs bowled seven wickets for no runs; for Moor Park v. Putney, at Moor Park, Flanagan bowled four wickets in four consecutive balls; for Jesus College, Cambridge, C. A. Fitch took eight out of nino wickets of Felsted School. In the return match between the Maryleboue Club and Ground and Yorkshire, Mr. C. K. Francis in the first innings of Yorkshire took seven wickets (six bowled) in eleven overs for twelve runs In the first match between Derbyshire v. Lancashire, at Manchester, W. Me Intyre took fourteen Derbyshire wickets in the two innings. In the return match between Derbyshire and Hants, at Southampton, Myeroft in the first innings of Hants had a hand in the fall of all ten wickets, nino batsmen falling to his bowling, while the tenth he caught from the bowling of Hay ; in all he got seventeen Hampshire wickets in the two innings. For Surrey v. Kent, at the Oval, Jones in the first innings clean bowled six wickets for ten rams ; for Yorkshire v. Surrey, atSheifiold, Armitage’s lobs in the two innings secured thirteen Surrey wickets at a cost of 46 runs. In tho return match between Yorkshire and Lanca­ shire, at Sheffield, Hill at tho finish clean bowled six Lancashire wickets in six overs for five runs; and in the return between Lancashire and Sussex, in the second innings of Lancashire, Mr. 0. A. Brown bowled five wickets for nine runs. On August 25th, in a match at Deolalee (India) between Deolalce and Egutpootra, Quartermaster-Sergeant Miller obtained all ten wickets in the first innings of Egutpootra, for ten runs, and eight out of ten wickets in tho second innings. For Notts against Surrey, at Nottingham, A. Shaw took 11 wickets for 56 runs, and at one time, in the first innings, delivered 19 overs (17 maidens) for 2 runs and 2 wickets. In a match between Felsted School and Clare College, Cambridge, H. M. Gepp, for Felsted, took all ten wickets for 53 runs. For the Spiders against Mr. Gale’s Eleven, at Mitcham, in second innings, Mr. Absolom took all ten wickets; and for Wood Green against Amhurst Club tho same gentleman got eight wickets in twenty-thres balls for eight runs.
