Morgan would make a good bat if he did not study style so much. A. Goodwin, an extremely useful man, keeps the field alive. T. Jones , very good long stop, improving bat. T. Roberts, bats well at times, excellent field at a distance from the wicket. Lb. Jones, fair bat, slow in the field. W. Alatheu s did not play much ; cuts prettily. R. I). Laris, a good medium-pace bowler ; tolerable field. L. Mathias, fair change bowler, by no means a good field. T . B. Williams, a fair all-round man.
