James Lillywhite's Cricketers' Annual 1876
108 MINOR COUNTIES IN 1875. Appended will be found the results of the few matches played by three of the Minor Counties. Applications were sent to the Hon. Secs, of all the other Clubs but to no effect. As we are anxious to assist, to the best of <mr limited ability, in developing genuine cricket it would be a boon if the officials of County Clubs would put themselves to a little—it is very little that we ask of them—trouble to forward the interests of the bodies they re supposed to represent.
