Dani.el, a pretty and rct times a very effective bat, though rather too fond of forward play, at the beginning of his innings. A (lashing field at cover point, saving a great many runs. G. B. G·urney, a fair bat ,vith strong back-pl&j .., bui rather too fond of hitting, cuts well. Algood field at point. Bowls slow fairly, but should study the pitch. * C. J. Bonner, a fair . left-handed bat, and an excellent field. L. E. Lt,ahington, at times a 1>11zz- li11g bowler.
