Bailey , careful bat ; plays straight ; can keep wicket . C. H. Alington , promising bat, has good defence ; fair field . E. Waddington plays rather stiff , but straight ; a sure catch and good field . E. Roller , good sound bat ; cuts well behind point ; a straight bowler ; slowfield . H. J. Roberts , energetic field and good long -stop ; gets runs quickly , and can bowl slow round arm. K. B. Otter , fair round-arm bowler; uncertain but promising bat. P.
