R.S.Cooper’s 122 took 190 minutes and included 14 fours. S.N.Banerjee’s 109 took 150 minutes and included 10 fours. Amir Elahi retired hurt in the Western India States first innings having scored 18 (team had lost 8 wickets). He was struck in the face by a bouncer from S.W.Sohoni and then by a similar ball from S.N.Banerjee. This match was in aid of the Bengal Famine Relief Fund and the Patiala Memorial Fund. 203
