128 1977 that Glamorgan, after three damp days, defeated Leicestershire in the Gillette Cup semi-final to clinch a place at a Lord’s final for the first-ever time. June 2005 also saw a Twenty20 match at St. Helen’s as Glamorgan met Warwickshire, but this remains the only game in the all- action competition staged at Swansea as, like all of the Welsh county’s other major games, they are staged at the Club’s headquarters in Cardiff. 1.
