The cricketers of ToroniÂ's western suburb are ovidently doter- miiied to have cricket. Ont Saturday, the lst July, they put two teans in the tield, an eleven and a t..elvo. The homo team woe rather sat upon by the visitors fron Aurora, but pulled off a stubbornly.contested match with the Sons of England. In the Aurora match, for the home tearn Montgomery and Anderson bowled well. For the visitors, Tracoy, assisted by a high wind and helped by the ground, played havoc with the Parkdale wickets, and his 15 not out was a carefully played innings. Beyond this, the less said of the batting of either team the better. In the match with the Sons of England, for the Englishimsen Beasley and H. Pouiter led in batting, while the bowling honours were about equallydivided between Beasley, Griffith and Johnstone, the latter labouring under the disadvantago of a broken finger in the second innings. For Parkdale. Mackenzie, Chambors, Land and A. Black were most successful with the willow, Land showing parti- cularly good judgment in sharp runs. The lion's sharo of the wickets fell to E. Wright.
