On Tuesday last Guelph played a tean. composed of players fromi New Hlamburg, Berlin, Waterloo, Galt and Brantford, which, for want of a botter name, they called an leven, or rather ten, of tbe County of Waterloo. The bowling of the visitors was excellent. Simnpson (Galt) was destructive as over, and ho was well seeonded by Draper (Waterloo), Hughes (Berlin), and Cook (New Hamburg), Hutchinson, for Guelph, did some very good work with the ball, as his analysis will show. The batting of neither team was good. Cook and Woodcock made a good stand at the beginning of thi first innings, and their runs were obtained by careful play. Score : 1st Innings.
