GROUNDS USED IN MORE THAN ONE SECTION Matches in Scotland and Ireland up to 1996 are included in the British Isles (now given as England and Wales) totals; once the ICC admitted them as Associate Members their matches are recorded separately. Matches in Bermuda, Canada and USA were all grouped together in the totals in volume 5 of the ACS First-Class Match List but are now shown separately. Matches in East Africa were all grouped together in the totals in volume 5 of the ACS First-Class Match List but matches in Kenya are now shown separately. Matches in Zimbabwe prior to 1980/81 season (when Rhodesia) are included in the South Africa totals. A match in 1988/89 played in what is now Namibia is included in the South Africa total. Matches in what is now Pakistan played prior to partition in 1947/48 are included in the India total. Matches in what is now Bangladesh played prior to independence in 1971 are included in the Pakistan total.
