Matches in East Africa were all grouped together in the totals in volume 5 of the ACS First-Class Match List but matches in Kenya are now shown separately. Matches in Zimbabwe prior to 1980/81 season (when Rhodesia) are included in the South Africa totals. A match in 1988/89 played in what is now Namibia is included in the South Africa total.
