ABOUT THE AUTHORS Bob Harragan , born in Romford in Essex in 1954, has lived in Llanelli in Carmarthenshire since 1972, and is a freelance journalist specialising in schools and youth cricket. He edited and wrote much of the Bridgend Town 150th Anniversary booklet (1990) and is the author of Don Shepherd , no 49 in the ACS Famous Cricketer series; Somerset Cricket Grounds in the ACS Grounds series; The History of Llanelli Cricket Club (1991); Images of Wales: Llanelli Rugby Club (1998) and Dafen C.C. 75th Anniversary History (2001). He is statistician for Carmarthenshire on the Minor Counties Project and writes cricket profiles for the website Sports Heroes On-line (www.shol.co.uk) . Lawrie Colliver , born in Maitland, South Australia in December 1970, is a broadcaster on Adelaide’s radio station 5AA and a freelance writer. He played first grade cricket for Tea Tree Gully as a left-arm medium-pace bowler and left-hand bat. His teammates included Australian leg-spinner Peter McIntyre and SA State players Ashley Hammond, Marty Faull and Brad Wigney. He is Adelaide correspondent for CricInfo and worked on the video camera when the England Academy was based in Adelaide.
