In eight weeks the team, organised by Ron Roberts and led by Richie Benaud and Everton Weekes, covered 40,000 miles and played exciting cricket in such countries as Hong Kong, New Zealand and Rhodesia. They participated in 17 matches, including eight that were first-class, and lost only one. In 6 first-class games, Marshall contributed 302 runs, 5 wickets and 3 catches.
