The EDRICH Family in Cricket John Edrich had four cousins who played first-class cricket, namely:- Brian Robert Edrich was born on 18th August 1922 at Cantley in Norfolk . He was a forcing middle order left-hand batsman, an off-break bowler and a close fielder. He played 128 matches for Kent from 1947 to 1953 and then moved to Glamorgan where he played 52 matches in 1954, 1955 & 1956. He was a middle order right-hand batsman, a right-arm medium pace bowler and a fine leg-slip. He played 322 matches in his career at Lancashire from 1946 to 1958 and went on the Commonwealth XI tour to India in 1953/54. Both before and after playing first-class cricket he played for Norfolk over many years, from 1932 to 1936 and 1959 to 1971. He played 389 matches for Middlesex and his Test match career of 39 matches lasted from1938 to 1954/55.
