In the Stock Exchange Year Book for 1910, Jessop is listed as a director of ‘Frank Sugg, Ltd’. In some of the advertisements in Wisden, Jessop is described as Chairman of Directors. The board also consisted of F.H. and W.Sugg. The company was originally formed in the 1890s but was re-registered on 22nd January 1906 and had its office at 12 Lord Street, Liverpool. It is described as ‘a business of athletic outfitters’ supplying equipment for cricket, tennis, croquet and golf. An autographed bat called the ‘Jessop Boundarie’ was priced at 25/-. Jessop was a director of this firm until 1920. At Stourbridge against Worcestershire, Jessop equalled his own record of 1904 by taking 28 runs off one over, from R.D.Burrows. In all, he made 165 out of 297 in 120 minutes with 6 sixes and 24 fours. He passed 50 in 25 minutes and 100 out of 123 in 60 minutes.
