ABOUT THE AUTHOR Wesley Harte was born in 1949 at Crawfordsburn, Co. Down and has lived most of his life in Holywood just outside Belfast. Educated at Rockport and The Methodist College, Belfast, he is a retired Civil Servant and has been a member of the ACS since 1988. With a particular interest in New Zealand cricket, his previous contributions to this series have been No. 8 Martin Donnelly, No. 23 Bert Sutcliffe and No. 35 C.S.Dempster.
