They lost one of the matches against an Indian XI and also to East Zone. They beat South Zone and Ceylon and the remaining games were drawn often with high scoring on the placid wickets. Miller hit two hundreds, against Ceylon and West Zone and altogether scored 470 runs at an average of 36.15.
