ABOUT THE AUTHORS Peter Griffiths has been a member of the ACS since 1977 and currently serves on the committee. He was the co-author with Kit Bartlett of John Wisden in the Famous Cricketers series and has edited several other ACS books, notably the first-class match list series. Kit Bartlett was a founder member of the ACS in 1973. He has been a committee member since 1995 and has written three books in the Famous Cricketers series: Brian Close , Paul Gibb and Laurie Fishlock . He has also been co-author of three others: Tom Hayward , Denis Compton and John Wisden . He was ACS Statistician of the Year in 1993.
