Scorebooks As with my previous book in this series on Brian Statham I attempted to see as many scorebooks as possible in order to authenticate the basic statistics. This proved more difficult than with Statham in view of the greater time lapse since Tyldesley retired; eventually I had to call a halt with 53 of his 648 first-class matches still not verified, most of them relating to overseas tours.
