Eighteen players made the trip, of whom eleven were Test players. The tourists were most effectively captained by F.M.M.Worrell. They played five representative matches against the full strength of India, winning two and drawing the remaining three. Fishlock was one of six players to complete 1000 runs in first-class matches. He played in four of the ‘Tests’, scoring a not-out hundred in the first encounter at New Delhi. In all, he made three centuries on the tour, which proved to be the last first-class cricket he played overseas. Own Team O M R W Opp Ct Total Total 341.
