He scored 604 runs at an average of 33.55 He made no centuries and perhaps his best innings was one of 64 not out against Worcestershire, holding the lower half of the innings together in a total of 176 all out in a game Gloucestershire eventually won by 31 runs. He took 5 wickets during the season and held 24 catches. Gloucestershire sadly missed his batting from July onwards, the county slipping from second to eighth place in the Championship.
