McCabe scored five fifties out of his nine innings, but failed to score a century, 88 in the opening match being his best, taking 132 minutes with 10 fours. Most of his other innings were at a run a minute, 53 against a Combined Queensland and Victoria, 75 against Queensland and 82 against Victoria.
