Famous Cricekters No 53 - George Geary

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Dennis Lambert is a Honorary Life Member of the ACS, being one of the joint founders, and was also Chairman from 1979 to 1981. He was born in Brasted, in Kent, and educated at Skinners’ Schoool, Tunbridge Wells. Now retired, his working life was spent as a Certified Accountant, both in the profession and latterly with a number of commercial companies. He played club cricket enthusiastically to an abysmal standard, retiring (compulsorily?) at the early age of 46. He is statistician and historian to Leicestershire CCC, and, as a concession to his wife, is also a member of Lancashire CCC. His other interests are family history, nineteenth century history, rugby union and travel.
