1913 He gained a regular place in the team, and took five wickets in an innings for the first time, against Lancashire at Old Trafford. This feat was followed, four matches later, by eleven wickets against Worcestershire at the long disappeared Fox and Goose Ground at Coalville - this was the first time that Geary had been in a winning Leicestershire team.
