ABOUT THE AUTHOR Bob Harragan, born in Romford, Essex in 1954, has been an ACS member since the mid 1970s, when he was involved in tracing obscure Glamorgan players for the Society’s Glamorgan Cricketers book. He has also carried out research into early cricket in Wales. For the last ten years he has been a freelance journalist specialising in schools and youth cricket. He edited and wrote much of the Bridgend Town C.C. 150th Anniversary booklet (1990) and is author of The History of Llanelli Cricket Club (1991), Wales U16 Cricket Records 1980-1998 and Images of Wales: Llanelli Rugby Club (1998).
