The match was declared not first-class by the South African Cricket Association in 1930. For the record his match figures were 3 & 7*, 6-5-8-2, no catches. 1910 In another outstanding Championship-winning year for Kent, Woolley advanced out of all recognition as a bowler, passing 100 wickets for the first time and consequently completing his first “double”. His average even exceeded Blythe's. The absence of Fielder from the front-line attack for much of the season clearly aided his advance. As a batsman he made no material improvement, his average falling eight points. Wisden however remained impressed, making him one of its “Five Cricketers of the Year” in the 1911 edition.
