I also wonder if this is the first book ever produced by the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians where some of the information has been gained by contact made through the social networking site, Facebook! The wonders of modern technology creeping into this world of reams of paper and multitudes of pens. Finally, and how could I complete a book without doing so, I have to pay tribute to my Dad, Victor, for whom I owe a lot, none more so than getting me into this mad world of statistics in the first place and his influence upon me to take up this fascinating path of interest.
