The only good feature of Greville’s play was the suc cessful left-hand g-oog-ly bowling- of G. E. Dunn (6 for 22). On the Bank Holiday Greville “ A ” had had a fine match with Harpenden. Four innings were played, and so level was the scoring that in the end Greville won by 22 runs only. L. B. Keelan’s 65 for them was a long way the highest score. G r e v ille “ B ” v. This was the twelfth annual visit of the Wanderers to Oxshott, where Mr. R. J. Lambert’s generous hospitality always means an enjoyable time. Oxshott had 64 up before the first wicket fell, thanks mainly to C. N. Lambert, but 6 were down for 86. Then F. H. Evans and H. W. Champion stopped the rot. The visitors made a poor start, with 2 out for 20; but Hankin and Street added 58, and after three more wickets had g-one cheaply R. T. Childs (66— 12 fours) and T. W. Brown (64*— 10 fours) won the match by adding 94 for the seventh wicket. Brown’s chanceless innings was said to have been one of the best ever seen on the ground. O ld W h itg iftia n s v.
