W eerasuriya, has ever accomplished the double-century fe a t in C eylon , and few batsmen, an y where h ave done it and been not out both times. T h ere are m an y instances in first-class c r ic k e t; but o n ly in tw o o f them was the batsm an unbeaten, in each innings— D . R . A . G ehrs, 148 * and 100*, S. A u stralia v.
