Ramaswami for Wesley College v. Engineering College at Madras in February. He came in when 6 w ickets had fallen for | 55. A t the fall of the ninth 144 had been scored. | Ramaswami was then joined by Neroji, who kept up his end while his partner hit, and the total reached 313, the last wicket thus putting on 169. Ramaswami’s score was 188, Neroji’s 27*. Earlier in the same innings Jeevaprakasam had batted nearly 3 hours for 13 ! There are three brothers at Wesley College, sons of Mr. Buchi Babu Naidu, and Ramaswami is the youngest of the three. The eldest, Vencataramanjulu, has taken 29 of the 49 wickets which have fallen to the College in the three matches .of the tournament in which the game noticed above was the fin a l; the second, Baliah, scored 113 in the first match and 141 in the second, and the youngest has now made his mark very definitely.
