PICKWICK C.C. v. SPARTAN C.C.— Played at Kensington, Barbados, on December 16, 23 and 30, and left drawn, after two declarations Pickwick; wanting one run for victory at the finish. This match has already been referred to in “ Gossip,” and Pickwick’s first innings score given : but in view of the remarkable character of the game it seems worth while to give the full score. Tarilton’s 210 not out is a Barbados record, and the feat of Gibbs in scoring two centuries in thr mutch is also a record for the island.
