Mr. E. W. Foenander issued a Ceylon Cricketersr Almanack last year, and he did the work so well that the hope was expressed generally that its reception would be such as to assure its publication every spring. We are glad to And that the 1912 volume has duly appeared, for the book is a most useful one and deals with its subject in a manner which can safely be recommended to anyone who thinks of starting an Annual in any other colon y .. The book contains some interesting articles and some capital illustrations. We find that during 1911 Mr. V. F. S. Crawford scored 1,460 runs with an average of 42 and Mr. W . T. Greswell took 232 wickets at a cost of 7.32 runs apiece. Ceylon Cricketers' Almanack for 1912. Edited by E. W. Foenander,. Colombo : Ceylon Sportsman Newspaper Office. Price, 1 Rupee.
