C en tral Cumberland v. N orth Sydney.— N. Sydney scored 280 for 7, declared (H. Cooper 110, G. S. Moore 81), and won by 140 runs 011 the first innings, Central Cumberland making 140 (J. B. H. Cranney 35) and 197 for 4 (Rev. E. F. Waddy 71*, Cranney 42). Cooper and Moore added 184 runs for the second wicket of N. Sydney. H.’V. Hordern took 6 for 61 in C. Cumberland’s first. M iddle H arbor v. Burw ood.— Burwood made 197 (F. McMullen 64) and 84 for 5, declared, and won 011 the first innings by 73 runs, Middle Harbor’s totals being 124 (H. P. Woolcott 32) and 103 for 6 (G. Lowe 54*). Petersham v. Gordon.— Petersham won in tin? first innings by 88 runs, scoring 196 (R. J. Oram 62, J. S. Norton 40) and 133 (A. W. Norris 35) to Gordon’s 108 (V. T. Trumper 29). For Gordon B. Short land had 7 for 62 (first), S. Trumper 4 for 35 (second) ; for Petersham .T. D. Seott took 7 for 27. W averley v. U niversity.— University declared at 3 by for 7 (C. V. Single 98*, F. E. McElhone 57, W. J. Stack 51, J. B. Lane 43), and won in first innings by 236 runs, Waverley scoring 133 (W. E. Kssendon.—S.M. made 226 for 9, declared (A. Kenny 41, W. J. Scott 41, G. H. S. Trott 37, Deas 37, .T. F. Giller 23), and won by 26 runs, Essendon (in first) scoring 80 and 122 for 5 (Russell 35, retired hurt). For S.M., A. C. Facy had 8 for 60 in the match, J. F. Giller 5 for 49 ; for Essendon Proud took 6 for 116. C arlton v . U niversity .— University won, with 168 for 5 (II. L. Park 83) to 103 (Lannigan 38). Prahran v. Fitzroy.—-Fitzroy won by 157 runs, totalling 236 (R. Delves 83*, J. H. R. Woodford 38, C. Dwyer 35) to 79 (Bowden 34). For the whiners T. Cannon took 6 for 44, E. Boulter 4 for 26. Richmond v. St. K ilda.— A draw; St. Kilda scored 170 (J. M. Ainslie63, Upward 47), Richmond 104 for 9 (W. F. B. Macrow 29). For St. Kilda Moule 1 took 5 for 46.
