C. C ooke, R. E. H aw kes (Umpire). Middle row (seated): R. O. H eadon, W. C. W h e a tle y (Hon. See.), E. O. D ra bb le (Captain), F. C. B u ckeridge (Vice-captain), A. J. V erek er. Seated 011 g rou n d : M. P. H o w e ll, L. J. H ardw ick . Barnes were below par in 1912. T he loss of H. A. Busher told heavily upon them ; they discovered little new talent, and some of their best men did not turn out too regularly. The all-round play of P. M. Rees, a m ighty hitter on his day, W . L . Whitaker, and H. E . Barham , who m ight with advantage have bowled a bit more, one fancies, and the batting of the Rev. E . S. Duval and P. R. Earnsbaw were the brightest spots. The club is sure to do better in 1913. BARNES C .C .: 1912. B attino Inns. N.o. R. A. H.S. O. Bow I,INC. R. W. A. Barham, H. E. 10 4 380 31*66 79* 44 160 10 16-00 Bird, F.
