THE LANCASHIBE COUNTY C.C. o 20 17 The Committee of the Lancashire County Cricket Club met in Manchester on February 2nd, and discussed their attitude with regard to the County Championship. A t a previous meeting they had passed a resolution suggesting a reconsideration of the method of deciding the championship and that an alternative scheme should come into operation in 1913. A letter was read from Mr. F. E. Lacey, secretary to the M.C.C., suggesting that a special meeting of the Advisory County Cricket Committee should be called to consider the question. The Committee had also received another letter assuring Lancashire of the support of the minor counties on the question. It was decided to put the resolution before the counties and invite them to support it before the Advisory Committee.
