In the first innings of the Perambulators the last six wickets fell to Nason and Kidd in 13 balls. The latter, a Freshman from Wellington, dismissed Windsor-Clive, Griffin and Trasenster w ith. con secutive balls. In the Etceteras’ first innings he and Wilson put on 220 together in 170 minutes. The first Tournament for the Windward Islands Challenge Cup, presented by Mr. Cork, the acting-Governor of Jamaica, was played in Grenada last month and was won by St. Vincent. The Cup will be competed for every year, the next occasion being at St. Lucia in April, 1911. GRENADA v. S t . LUCIA. On landing they were accorded an enthusias tic reception by vast crowds who congregated on the jetty and in the immediate vicinity to welcome them. The jetty was decorated with triumphal arches, and banners with suitable inscriptions were illuminated with gasoline lamps. At 9 p.m. deafening shouts proclaimed the arrival of the Cup, which, to satisfy the crowd, was exhibited at the Customs.” CHESHIRE v. LANCASHIRE 2 nd XI.
