Played at Wellington on February 19, 20, aud 22. Wellington won by 186 runs. Blacklock gave a magnificent display in Welling­ ton’s second innings, hitting with every facility all round the wicket. He hit live G’s and thirteen 4’s and made his 124 out of the 196 added for the second wicket with Naughton. The total scores were: Hawke’s Bay, 148 (Hawke 4S) and 124 for six wickets (Hawke 41); Wairarapa, 36 and 307 (Moss 102, Smart 66 , Moorhouse 42). In the first innings of Wairarapa Redgrave took six wickets for 21 runs and Nelson four for 14. SOUTHLAND v. OTAGO. Played at Invercargill on March 3 and 4. Southland won by 97 runs.
