Newstead has resigned his position on theground- staff at Lord’s in order that he m ay devote his whole tim e to Yorkshire County cricket. W ith the idea of unearthing talent, the Derby shire C ounty C.C. Com m ittee have arranged a trial m atch to be played at Blackw ell on July 15th betw een North-East D erbyshire and the Rest of the County.
